Description

I looked up the word Pointillism. mainly to see how to spell it. i have this thing with english. should paid more attention in school,

Pointillism /ˈpɔɪntᵻlɪzəm/ is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image. Georges Seurat and Paul Signac developed the technique in 1886, branching from Impressionism.

I have always wanted to do a painting like this. I started a few  times, but never got far enough to complete any . I don’t know if it was the subject matter I was using or it just wasn’t the right time.

Took a photo from one of the Saguaro cactus in my yard. The morning light was just rocking some really cool colors. I ended using my cell phone and captured a shot I thought was cool.

My starting was a bit frustrating, dot, dot, dot.  this is a bunch of bull, got my head around this whole thing and just had a blast. This was very time consuming and at the same time, I was able to just go someplace in my head and it seemed to just happen out of no place.
